Jadis is not only gorgeous with her LONG flowing mane, tail, and feather, big booty, and thick bone, but she is considered a “Grand Gypsy” (Gypsies over 15.1 hands) which is rare in this breed! Jadis has spent the majority of her life exploring trails and has had a foal in the past as well. She is fun to ride through town and down the street, has had the rope swung off of her, is gorgeous carrying the American flag, and is good with tarps. Additionally, Jadis is very cowy and loves moving cattle – another hard-to-find trait in this breed! This beautiful mare is gentle and ready for the whole family to love. She has three nice gaits, responds to leg pressure, side passes, collects, and has a SLIDING stop. Don’t let her age fool you! Jadis has a ground-covering walk and isn’t afraid to step out. She has an in-you-pocket personality and loves attention. If you don’t have time to ride every day or even every week, that is totally fine! Jadis is the same with time off and will saddle up and ride off the same no matter if it’s been a day, a week, or a month. Jadis prefers to have a friend but aims to please and is a blast to bring along for adventures. She is ready for whatever you want to do with her, whether that be trails, leadline, 4H, raising babies, ranching, putzing around the arena, packing a beginner under supervision, or anything else you desire. Jadis stands good to be groomed, is great to bathe, is good for the farrier, and is good to saddle. She is clean legged, has never had any soundness problems, and does not require any maintenance. Jadis gets along with the herd (lower in the pecking order) and is very easy to catch. She has nice hard feet that don’t require shoes. This is not the type of mare you will have the opportunity to own often, so don’t let her pass you by!
