Legend is handier than a pocket on a shirt. He’s a gelding that is easy to keep and helpful to have around. Never has any buck and is the same gentle and solid minded horse every time you ride him. Legend is a finished ranch horse and is handy broke, but he is gentle enough for youth riders or riders who aren’t as experienced and does not have to have a daily job.
We are a family who uses a horse on the ranch daily and has an appreciation for a good one that you don’t have to worry about first thing in the morning. Legend is that horse. No matter what jobs the day may hold you catch him in the morning knowing you’ll be well mounted for the day. He has been used in all aspects of ranch work from the pasture to the stockyards. He is sure footed and is handy broke. He’s good to rope one on and will work a rope to doctor. Has sorted plenty and spent lots of time working the back of the cow sale. We have used him in the rodeo arena to push bulls, calves and steers. We haven’t had a chance to pick up any broncs on him as of yet, but we don’t see that he would object in any way. We have also used him for youth ranch rodeo, senior boys division TYRRA. There’s no kind of commotion that shakes him. He is solid as a rock.
Legend does not have to have a high action job. He will cruise down the trail and allow you to enjoy a relaxing ride just as well as he will go to work. His experience on the ranch and in the rodeo arena have created him to be the most solid of citizens and have made him suitable for absolutely anyone anywhere.
He is easy to catch in the pasture and gets along well in a herd setting. He will be toward the bottom of the totem pole. He is good to shoe and has a good solid foot. Legend does not have any quirks or bad habits that will cause you to be displeased when you get him home. He is a start forward individuals that’s about as simple and pleasurable to own as they come.
