This was our family horse to trail ride and have fun on. We purchased him in 2020. Smoke is a 9 year old OTTB. We got him as a 5 year old. He was my ex-husbands horse who is 6’2″. He rode him on and off for the first year he had him and then stopped. As a 5 and 6 year old Smoke did some camps and lessons. He really loved all the attention. He’s a silly and sweet guy. He was started over cross rails. Has been in rivers and lakes to swim and play. LOVES the trails and obstacle work. He’s a very smart and curious TB. He is still green, needs a professional to get him going again. He’s been sitting for the better part of 2024. Was sent to professional training summer of 2023 for 2 months at Christina Baileys in Farmville, Va. I run a busy lesson barn and he needs more attention than I can give him. Would make a great family horse once back in work. He loves to be scratched and loved on. Likes to play d games. A good 30-45 days should get him muscled up and back on track. He could do a lot of things, but he def has an affinity for trails and slower style work. Has been around the barrel pattern though and shows potential. Smoke is super commutable to ride. Especially his trot/jog!! You can sip tea all day on this guy.
