Prince has a nice 4beat gait that is hard to find in a pony, and is a blast for the kids to enjoy and ride. If I had to describe Prince best for a kid, he would be more of a step up pony than a confidence booster.
If you have a small child that is confident in their riding, they will get along great with Prince.
